Growing conditions:

The sprouts can be harvested individually from the bottom of the stalk upwards as they reach the desired size, allowing for a prolonged harvesting period.

  • Plant in full or part sun
  • Required a compost rich, well draining soil
  • Brussels Sprouts are a cool season crop so plant in late Summer and Autumn for a Winter or Spring harvest
  • Don’t transplant seedlings or sow seeds outside in hot temperatures
  • Transplant seedlings to the garden once they have their first true leaves and are large enough to handle
  • When sprouts start appearing remove the leaves from the lower part of the plant
  • Pick sprouts as they develop
  • Best flavour is developed after at least one frost
  • Water the roots not the leaves to prevent diseases
  • Plant 7mm deep in moist soil, 70cm apart
  • Germinate in 7-14 days
  • Matures in 90-120 days
