Growing notes
- Prefers a part shade position – morning sun is ideal
- Sow direct to soil. Water seeds regularly until they germinate
- Plant all year round
- Sow 3cm deep and 50cm apart
- Germinates in 10-20 days
- Matures in 150 days
Tips:
Don’t fertilise. If you do the plants will only grow leaves and not flowers.
For faster germination soak seeds in water overnight and then plant out.
Nasturtiums make a great companion plant. Grow them amongst vegetables, and also under your fruit trees
